Is the purple lilac flowers poisonus when eaten?
I don%26#039;t think it will harm your friend. She/he MAY get a bit of a stomach ache though lol!Here is a site for poisonous plants : Lilacs are not on the list :) Take care.

Reply:my favorite flower. no they aren,t as far as I know. I am like a cat on catnip when I get around lilacs and I even eat the petals. I,ve never heard of anyone being poisened by them. Beware though. There are a lot of super deadly flowering shrub that will kill you if you even stick a twig in your mouth like oleander. Rhododendren are another. Even tomato or potato leaves or oak leaves after a frost. and the list goes on but lilacs aren,t on the list.
